Description Giacomo 2015-05-21 13:37:11 UTC
Differently from Windows 7 32Bit (not affected by the problem), in 64 bit version of the O.S. changing KDE preferred language has not any effect on labels, columns, menus, commands, descriptions, tips, hilights, help, etc... The system does not show any error but the change doesn't take effect.

The welcome windows changes correctly to the localized one but language of the application does not change (it's alwais in english). I tried different languages trying Italian, French, etc... The result is always the same.

The problem appears only in 64 bit version of Windows 7.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install KMyMoney 4.7.2 on windows 7 64 bit
2. Change KDE language (i.e. to Italian)
3. (Optional) Close KMyMoney, stop KDE and restart KMMoney

Actual Results:
Labels, columns, menus, commands, descriptions, tips, hilights, help, etc... are still in english

Expected Results:
As correctly happens in Windows 7 32 bit, everything (Labels, columns, menus, commands, descriptions, tips, hilights, help, etc...) has to inherit localisation language

Looks to be fixed with the recent 4.8.1 snapshot for Windows.

The snapshots could be downloaded from https://software.opensuse.org/package/mingw64-kmymoney-portable and unpackaged for example with 7zip. On that page open the tree and click on noarch.

If the problem persists feel free to reopen this bug.
