Windows 7 - 64 bit Krita 2.9.4 G'MIC colorize interactive filter is unable to load any gpl palette An error always shows up while trying to do so. The same gpl palette works fine on Linux instead (Krita 2.9.4 - Xubuntu 15.04) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Filter > G'MIC > Black and white > Colorize interactive 2. Try to load a .gpl palette (e.g. http://www.davidrevoy.com/article27/palettes-for-gimp-mypaint-or-krita) by typing the path where to get it (in order to replace the standard G'MIC palette) 3. When you finish typing the path for taking the gpl palette an error always shows up. See this video with all my steps to reproduce this bug: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3095134/BUGS_REPORT/KRITA_2.9/GMIC_INTERACTIVE_GPL_PALETTE_BUG.avi BTW, on Linux (Xubuntu 14.04) with Krita 2.9 everything works fine in that it is possible to correctly select the path for the gpl palette and use them later on. Watch this video on Linux (Xubuntu) where everything works fine with the same gpl palette tried on Windows 7: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3095134/BUGS_REPORT/KRITA_2.9/GMIC_GPL_PALETTE_LINUX.avi Actual Results: On Windows, Krita 2.9.4 is unable to use any gpl palette with the G'MIC colorize interactive filter. It works fine on Linux instead. Expected Results: Krita 2.9.4 should be able to select any gpl palette on Windows as well.
I noticed in this video https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3095134/BUGS_REPORT/KRITA_2.9/GMIC_INTERACTIVE_GPL_PALETTE_BUG.avi that G'Mic on Windows is missing zoom-in / zoom-out icons btw.
Created attachment 92796 [details] attachment-10553-0.html G'MIC icons (zoom in - out) are indeed missing on Windows 7 (64 bit) :-)Just tried with the latest build got from Kickstarter (64 bit - ZIP version). When you click on them a message pops up: "Sorry, support not implemented yet" See screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3095134/BUGS_REPORT/KRITA_2.9/KRITA_2.9.4_NO_ICONS_ZOOM.png | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Visualizza su dl.dropboxuserco... | Anteprima per Yahoo | | | | | Il Sabato 23 Maggio 2015 13:09, LukasT <lukast.dev@gmail.com> ha scritto: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347851 LukasT <lukast.dev@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |lukast.dev@gmail.com Platform|Windows CE |MS Windows --- Comment #1 from LukasT <lukast.dev@gmail.com> --- I noticed in this video https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3095134/BUGS_REPORT/KRITA_2.9/GMIC_INTERACTIVE_GPL_PALETTE_BUG.avi that G'Mic on Windows is missing zoom-in / zoom-out icons btw.
It was fixed on Linux, but it does not work on Windows, see this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344241 Current workaround is to go to the folder with palettes, check the file name outside krita (e.g. with explorer) and write the filename into file open dialog -- it will hint you the filename as you start to type it -- and then you can confirm it and use it in colorize [interactive]
