Description davidebasilio 2015-05-12 08:45:29 UTC
While the combination to send "window to next screen" works fine, just switching the focus to the next screen does not work.
I have the default focus policy.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press the hotkey configured for the "switch to next screen action"
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:
Focus should go to the last used window in the next screen.

I am experiencing the same problem!

This appears to be the same issue as bug 326297. There is a workaround described in comment 1 of that bug.

Based on that thread, I found a way to make the shortcut work.

I need to set

"Separate screen focus" to true
and "Active screen follows mouse" to false

in

$ kcmshell5 kwinoptions

Perhaps there should be a dialog or something that tells the user about this configuration when one sets the hotkey.

Thanks -
