Description Xaver Willi 2015-05-08 19:02:53 UTC
I can start the program, but when I want to browse to anywhere for open a picture, I get a Window which tells me "Error -- Gwenview" "URL cannot be listed file:///media/medion/transcend "

Gwenview worked very well at Ubuntu 14.10 and also at the beginning of Ubuntu 15.04.
After a mistake of me when using the program "Gwenview" I cannot use it again any more.
I removed Gwenview from the PC and installed it again, but without better results.

In the above line of "Anwendungen" I can see the ICON of Gwenview two times when it is installed, and one time when it is removed from the plattform. I can start Gwenview only from the second left ICON.

When Gwenview is removed from the Plattform I can see that also in Synatic-Paketverwaltung, that there is no installed package of Gwenview.
I tried with "sudo apt-get autoremove" with no change when Gwenview is installed again afterwards.

I have no more idea what to do, to use this nice program Gwenview any more.

Thanks for helping me.

Actually, this bug is not a duplicate of 345135 (as that one specifically mentions local files work fine, and only affect access via Samba). It looks more like a duplicate of 343997.

Ok, just fixed the issue in my computer (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343997) by installing the packages kinit and kio.
