I updated my arch linux system yesterday, Konqueror was updated to 4.14.7. I have seen today that all my bookmarks are gone. The bookmarks.xml file in ~/.kde4/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml is now only 68 bytes. There was no crash in between. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade system so that konqueror is included in the upgrade - the system received its previous upgrade about one month earlier 2. reboot 3. Start konqueror, I noticed about 24 hours after the upgrade that my bookmarks are gone Actual Results: bookmarks gone, bookmark.xml file contains no bookmarks Expected Results: bookmarks should have been preserved According to my pacman logs, my previous full system update was done on 23 March 2015. From the version information in konqueror: Konqueror Version 4.14.7 Using KDE Development Platform 4.14.7
I have just checked my history, all the history from before the upgrade is also gone.
