I tried to change the theme of Digikam, using the theme/configuration menu, but nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click the »Configuration» > «theme» > «Configuration» button
2.

Actual Results:  
nothing happens

Expected Results:  
Open a dialog for theme configuration

You want mean that no option are present in theme menu ?

If yes, you must install color application themes through KDE config panel. This one is missing on your computer.

If you use my packages from my PPA then it might be missing runtime files. Check if you have the package "systemsettings" installed which is a KDE package. It's not a forced dependent package to run digikam but a suggested package when digikam is installed to get more functionality.

Hello Philip, yes, I'm using your PPA (many thanks !). Following you advice, I do have installed «systemsettings» package, and now everything works fine. Thanks for your help.

Fixed with bug #284740
