Description Michael 2011-10-22 20:19:58 UTC
Version:           2.1.1
OS:                Linux

I can't change the themes in the german version. In the menu I select Einstellung->design->Einstellungen (english version I think its settings->theme->settings) and nothing happens.

I like to change these settings because I can't read the tooltips.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Select the menu Einstellung->design->Einstellungen

Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:
A screen to select another theme.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-12-generic
Compiler: gcc

i had the same problem since i upgraded my box to ubuntu 11.10

and as i use gnome the kde configuration is derived from the gnome one

the solution for me was to download systemsettings and modify the color in this application.

systemsettings is called by digiKam to configure theme. In fact, digiKam use KDE color scheme.

Install KDE system settings control center to fix this issue.
