I can use Touchpad Settings to configure touchpad, but the settings are not permanent after reboot.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change touchpad settings via kcm touchpad gui
2. Apply and test
3. Reboot

Actual Results:  
The settings are gone and when you run gui again we get a message saying:

"Active settings do not match with saved settings" (not sure if translation if fully correct)

Expected Results:  
The settings should be permanent after reboot.

Issue with Plasma 5.2 beta (5.1.95), please update to 5.2
