Description XapaJIaMnu 2015-02-05 12:47:46 UTC
Hey,

After upgrading to KDE5 I was unable to add icons to the panel, as the quick launch widget was missing and right clicking them in the Kickoff did nothing. After asking on the forums turns out that if you use Kickoff as your application Launcher you can't add icons to the panel (quick launch). You would need kicker for that. With Kicker you can right click on any icon in the menu and select "Add to panel". I believe that you should have the option to add launchers to panel from either kicker or kickoff.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load KDE
2. Try to add an icon to the panel using Kickoff.
3. Give up and try the same thing in Kicker.

Actual Results:
I was unable to add an icon to the quick launch panel using kickoff.

Expected Results:
To be able to add Icon to the panel.

As far as I understand (correct me if I am wrong) this should be trivial to fix. I would be willing to investigate if you point me to relevant files.
