Hi.

Selection Painting in Krita 2.9 is not in realtime. When i draw - update will be in some time. In this way SelectionPainting is not usable at all.

This is my wish.

Yes, it is painted with a delay. I could think about it in background. Right now the only way is to use Isolate layer, but it is also not the best option.

The selection brush used a preview, which may be more or less complex than updating it instantly.

Thank you a lot for confirmation, Dmitry! Could you also check this issue https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343218 ?
When no selection - selectionMask does not work.

This isn't a wish, it's a bug.

The bug is now fixed in master. One will see red overlay o,age when activating a selection mask.
