Description S 2014-10-27 20:56:22 UTC
Hello,

I have Baloo search enabled, but Krunner can't find substrings in filenames. For example "example_document_1.odt" is not found by searching for "document". If I search for "example_doc" it does find it, however. This severely limits the usefulness of krunner, because I can't find files unless I remember what they start with.

 Thanks for looking into this!

Reproducible: Always

Fixed with Plasma 5.1

We now split words on _ as well.

Thanks! But no fixes for KDE4?

No. The change is too big for me to backport. Additionally, since I'm not working on KDE4 any more, it would not get tested at all. The chance of regressions is just too high.

Perhaps you should move to Plasma5? It's quite stable.
