ksmserver kills plasmashell before applications have been terminated, should an application then cancel the logout the user is left without a shell to retry the logout.

Reproducible: Always

Teo, could you have a look into this? Seems like a porting mistake.

This should be fixed in 5.6 when built against Qt 5.6.
