Krita finally has multi layer selection and it's great. The main functionality missing from it however is a way to batch toggle visibility or any of the lock states (alpha lock, lock, inherit alpha) I know it's tricky to to this by pressing the icons themselves. But what about a shortcut,or RMB on the selected layers that would show a pop-up giving you several options that you can apply on multiple layers the options would/could be -toggle visibility on -toggle visibility off -toggle visibility (inverts everything) -toggle Lock on -toggle lock off -toggle Lock (inverts everything) -toggle alpha lock on -toggle alpha lock off -toggle alpha lock (inverts everything) -toggle inherit alpha on -toggle inherit alpha off -toggle inherit alpha (inverts everything) additionally you could add -merge selected layers -merge unselected layers there could be some other options. This is I feel an important functionality requirement that would speed up workflows significantly. This can also be done by putting "master icons' on top. Lotsof programs do this as well. And each option is contained within a popup for that icon.
Raghavendra kamath also remarks that "add to group" should be an option (and I agree) Quote: This is a Wish bug for having a shortcut or layer-box menu for grouping selected layers. Currently what i do to group layers is create a group layer and then drag all the layers that i want to be in group under this newly created group layer. this is cumbersome process if you are having large number of layers. Now that we have the ability to select multiple layers, I wish we could have this feature as well. we can select several layers in the layer stack and then we can have them grouped with a shortcut or clicking a menu option ( group selected layers)

From another bugreport I'll add it to this one as it is similar: from plassy@web.de - merging all visible layers to one new layer (keeping all other layers untouched) Merging visible layers could be an option as well (also works on single layers perhaps?) Otherwise 'select visible layers' 'select invisible layers option would do as well,as you can then use "merge selected layers"

Implemented now, use the properties dialog for multiple layers.
