Description Ragnar Thomsen 2014-04-16 23:16:20 UTC
When I try to add my Dropbox storage in the storage manager, the authorization dialog appears and I am able to log into Dropbox. I then see my files, but when I click OK, I get the error message:
"Request token has not been properly authorized by a user."

Adding GoogleDrive works fine.
Comment 1 Laurent Montel 2014-04-17 06:16:31 UTC
Did you click on "authorize" in web page ? or just click on "ok" ?
Comment 2 Ragnar Thomsen 2014-04-17 09:02:07 UTC
After I sign in, the list of files appears in the web page. There is no authorize button.
Comment 3 Laurent Montel 2014-04-17 09:46:01 UTC
?
I don't understand how you can have list of file in web page.

Could you make a screenshot and send me in private of you all authorize page ?
Comment 4 Emil 2014-04-24 09:24:27 UTC
I can confirm this. The webpage just takes me to the normal Dropbox webpage.
Comment 5 Emil 2014-04-24 09:35:37 UTC
If I try again I do get the message "only a limited set of users can receive access tokens while this app is in development mode"
Comment 6 Ragnar Thomsen 2014-05-16 17:46:47 UTC
Still not working in 4.13.1. I also see the message reported in Comment 5.
Comment 7 deminkirill 2014-06-06 11:07:31 UTC
This happens because StorageServiceManager is marked as "Developing" in the Dropbox account of the KDE developers.
So they must change this status to "Production" for normal working.
Comment 8 Carlos Bessa 2014-06-24 17:25:13 UTC
Still not working on KDE 4.13.2 (openSUSE 13.1).
Comment 9 Samed Beyribey 2014-06-26 16:23:22 UTC
Not working with KDE 4.13.2 (Arch Linux)
I get the following error:
"only a limited set of users can receive access tokens while this app is in development mode"
Comment 10 aximab 2014-08-19 17:48:59 UTC
Hey there.
Still not working on 4.13.3 (debian jessie/sid).
Comment 11 Ragnar Thomsen 2014-09-11 18:13:44 UTC
Sigh....4.14 did not fix this bug...

Any news on getting this fixed?
Comment 12 Maarten Mulders 2014-09-21 06:56:04 UTC
Would love to see this fixed. It's a disappointment to see that Dropbox integration does not work, while other mail clients (i.e., Thunderbird) do support Dropbox for large uploads.
Comment 13 Paul Höfler 2014-11-04 20:26:36 UTC
I'd love to see this fixed too! (Kubuntu 14.10 KDE5 Preview)

Comment 15 Mr. Bamboostick 2016-12-02 04:20:59 UTC
I get the same error message: "This app has reached its user limit. Contact the app developer and ask them to use the Dropbox API App Console to increase their app's user limit."
I think the developer is to increase application's user limit with Dropbox.com
