In OSX' main help drop-down menu one finds an menu item displayed as "A&bout Kate", which shouldn't appear like that or even not at all in that menu, since the About menu item entry is already to be found in Kate's main menu as "Kate/About". Menu KDE applications do not show such a duplicate entry.

It's weird that the ampersand is visible in the menu after all.

KWrite shows the same behaviour, I am not posting a new issue for that.

There is a separate issue 333180 for KDevelop, which is one of the 3 KDE applications I've found so far showing this odd behaviour.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Search for "Help/A&bout Kate" menu-item


Expected Results:  
No menu-item below "Help", but definitely not an entry with an ampersand in the string

Turns out one About dialog in the Help menu is from "Kate 3.12.4", the one below kate's application menu is from "Kate Part 3.7".

Well, the ampersand is still showing up in "A&bout Kate". That wasn't addressed by the RR!

Works with KF5 version like you get it from kate-editor.org
