Similar to Bug 183390. From the very beginning, before starting the torrent, I selected 3 out of 8 files to download. It finished - or so I thought, until I tried using the other 2 files. Checking KTorrent shows they are indeed checked, but they are 0.00% complete - however the torrent itself shows 100% complete. If you click on chunks tab, it shows Total: 803, Currently downloading: 0, Downloaded: 802, Excluded: 1, Left: 0. The files do exist, but they are null-filled. This state survived many shutdowns and startups (all after the torrent "completed" - the downloading was contiguous. Simply UNchecking one of the two skipped files triggered both of the files to be downloaded. Reproducible: Didn't try

(re: Above - sorry to be confusing - 3 out of 6 files selected - the other 2 in the list are folders.) Reproducible: Always Here's how, and it doesn't require downloading one byte of the test torrent. Here is a "structurally similar" ;) torrent that reproduces the bug. (For legal reasons, let me be clear that I'm not endorsing this link - it's just for test purposes.) https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6633822/ 1. Copy the magnet, go to KTorrent, click Open URL, click OK. 2. In the Opening dialog, select only the .mp4 and the 2 .srt files. Uncheck "Start torrent". Click OK. 3. Click the torrent in the list, and click the Chunks tab. Observe "Excluded: 1 Left: 802". 4. Click the Files tab, Uncheck, then recheck one of the .srt files. 5. Click back to the Chunks tab. Observe "Excluded: 0, Left: 803".
