Description Florian 2014-01-13 21:08:16 UTC
Hi,
I run docker.io ( linux container engine) with the devicemapper backend and have 2 containers running, and ~20 docker images.
Dolphin shows each image as a device , opening and all open file / save file operations take much longer , not only in dolphin also in gwenview .... ( ~30sec ).

I need a way to filter devices (no the do not show for each device is not an option, its to much work ).
And the opening time is unacceptable.

If i try this with nautilus from gnome3, only 2 devices are shown and the opening time is fast

Take a look at the Screenshot.

regards flo

Reproducible: Always

Thanks for the report.

The Solid library is responsible for notifying applications about the devices that are available on the system, so I'll reassign.

Another report about this (whyever i have not found before) https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328308, so sorry for the dup.
The udev rules from the report solves the problem for me, but i am unsure if its the correct solution

regards flo
