Description Jaime Torres 2013-12-05 09:33:40 UTC
When importing from an Android phone conected by USB as a disk, there can be hundreds of folders with icons or pictures from then phone applications. And it takes a lot of time to reach the DCIM folder with the pictures taken.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Takes a lot of time to reach the folder you want to import (usually the DCIM folder).

Expected Results:
Display the DCIM folder first, or perhaps enable the thumbnails in a folder by folder fashion. Any solution that decreases the time to reach the photos you usually want to import.

Actually I would propose a different behavior:

I want to create a .digikam on my mass-storage device with content like

[General]
Folder=/DCIM

With this, only the DCIM folder should be presented. A dedicated gui to create this file could be integreted in the existing device profile settings.

As far as I know amarok deals with mp3 players the same way.
