Description Gabor Körber 2007-12-04 15:26:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I use digikam sometimes to download pictures from my SE K750i mobile phone, however digikam keeps scanning every single subdirectory of the device, even if pictures are just in a specific (device/dcim) directory.

It would be nice, if there would be an option for mass storage devices to specify specific subdirectories to be scanned ONLY (default preset should be dcim, since "digital camera images" is the standard directory to be used), since it just takes forever, and I dont want to manage my mp3s and other files related to the phone with digikam.

I searched all options, but I cant find any to restrict digikam to a specific subdirectory.

Hmm, I'm not sure if this is a pure duplicate, as while the title in the other bug suggests the ability to restrict folders for import searching, people are talking about general filtering...
