So this was your first update on 13.1?

Then you were still using Apper 0.8.0 when doing it, which is known to crash. (although the backtrace says 0.8.1)
You should have gotten 0.8.1 with the update, which shouldn't crash anymore.

Can you confirm that?

In that case this would actually be a duplicate of bug#327055 I would say.

It was the very first update on 13.1 so the chances are you are correct in
your supposition.
Although I cannot confirm I was using Apper 0.8.0 , it makes logical sense.
