After update, no new recent documents get added, was left only with my previous old files and after clearing those, the list was empty.  This used to work in version 4.10 and noticed this while trying to use Krunner to open a recently used file.

I am also seeing this on Fedora19.x86_64 - 4.11.0, I also created a new user profile to test.

Same problem on Kubuntu 12.04 LTS with KDE 4.11 installed from Kubuntu backports PPA. Recently used applications appears to work, but no recent documents. Same problem on multiple user accounts on my laptop. This was working as expected prior to 4.11 update.

~/.local/share/recently-used.xbel has things I would expect to see in it.

~/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/ is always empty.

If I understand the problem correctly, the problem should be fixed in KDE SC 4.11.1 by the commit for bug 323747.

I can confirm this is fixed in KDE SC 4.11.1 - Fedora19_x86_64.
