Description Ruslan Kabatsayev 2013-07-17 16:46:42 UTC
Currently if a line in Table of Contents doesn't fit, it is ellipsized. One has to stretch the panel to make sure ToC is readable. Compare this to Adobe Reader, which appears much more usable (at left in screenshot).

Reproducible: Always

Can you please attach such a document?
Comment 2 Ruslan Kabatsayev 2013-07-17 23:22:14 UTC
Well can't attach since it's too big. Here's the link: http://www.atmel.com/Images/doc2466.pdf

To be honest i think that the fact the tooltip is there is enough already but if someone shows up with a patch we can discuss about it.

I was looking if a bug existed on this subject, and it did!
Now that Okular gets all kind of fixes, it would be great if this would be implantated too.
The pdf-reader Firefox has wraps the lines in the "table of contents panel" in such an elegant way!
In my opinion this is the one thing Okular still needs.

I would like to see this is Okular as well, or at least the option to scroll the pane horizontally. Without either of those I am constantly resizing the pane just to see the full names of content. It would seem that both Firefox and Chrome wrap lines.
