Currently, kde telepathy does not display the date for the chat logs. It only displays the time. This is unproductive because over time, it becomes hard to determine which day/date the logs refer to.

It will be good if the date is also captured in the timestamp.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Chat window
2. Old chat logs appear
3. Only the time is mentioned, not the date
Actual Results:  
Only time is mentioned in chat logs

Expected Results:  
Date should also be mentioned in chat logs.

This depends on your theme. We decided to not overwrite Adium stuff, you can find a theme that has date in it or wait for our new QML based view (no ETA on that however).

Oh and also see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=292041 - furthermore the date is currently in a tooltip when you hover above the time as well :)
