Since 4.10.2
If I remove the last message in a folder the list is empty but the message body is still shown in the message preview

nothing serious, a bit annoying

I confirm this. Kubuntu 12.10 + KDE 4.10.2. Using POP3, not IMAP.

Maybe related to bug 288073.

I just checked and it happens with IMAP as well.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Yes this is still present in Applications 16.08 > Kmail 5.3.0 on this F24 box.

Just an update that this is still happening. 
Oneway to reproduce is to copy a single Email to an empty folder then delete it. The body of the message is still shown after deletion.

Thought I'd better update this.

I am still seeing this with Kmail 5.23.2 (23.04.2) It works as it should in Akregator
