Description Dmitry Torokhov 2011-12-02 17:27:23 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

When using quick search (input field on top of message list), after selecting and deleting all messages matching the pattern, a random message is shown in message preview pane (the message list stays empty as it should).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter text in quick search field
2. Ctrl-A in message list
3. Shift-Delete to delete messages

Actual Results:
A message is shown in preview pane while message list is empty

Expected Results:
Both message list and preview pane should be empty

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Well, the steps to reproduce the issue are clearly stated in the original submission so I do not see why you need anyone to tell you if this bug is present in the latest release or not, as it would take about 30 seconds to try it out.

I have long ago stopped using Kmail as it is unable to handle my mail volume.

Tested and the issue isn't there anymore. that's exactly why reporters shall revisit their bug reports.
