Description Emmett Culley 2013-03-13 14:38:06 UTC
When attempting to place the OSD it pops back to the previous location when releasing the mouse button. Except that it will stick left, center or right, near the top of the screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select Settings | Configure Amarok
2. Select Notifications on left panel
3. Try to drag OSD
Actual Results:
OSd snaps back to original position (top right) upon relase of the mous button, unless it is dragged to the center or left edge near the top.

Expected Results:
OSD to stay where it is dragged and released.

I recently had to delete all of the Amarok files in ~/.kde because I coud not access my collection or make a playlist work since I upgaded to Fedora 17. I stopped Amarok, renamed all Amarok specific configuration files, then restarted Amarok.

Then created a new database, connected Amarok to it and had it scan the music directory. After that I could access my music and create a random playlist that works.

This has been recently fixed for the upcoming Amarok 2.8
