Description Friedrich W. H. Kossebau 2013-01-16 23:02:46 UTC
Right now I am manually importing a table found on a html page (a wiki actually) into Sheets, for further processing.

It would be cool if Sheets could automate that, perhaps also copy all kind of formatting info (optionally).
If there are multiple tables in the HTML page, the import filter would list all of them and the user could select which ones to import, also with Buttons Select All/Deselect All. Each table would be imported as separate sheet.

Reproducible: Always

once calligrasheets has html import support. the bug #54403 should be easy to implement

in konqueror -> right click a table -> export to calligra sheets

any plan for this?

I just tried both opening an HTML file containing a table
it did not do much..

then I copied from Firefox the content of the table and pasted it in Calligra Sheets.
only the top row was pasted

IMO - Critical feature
