When I login the power manager shows the new state for the display brightness which overlaps the KDE splash screen. I use the "Minimalistic splash screen"  by Ivan Cukic.
It's an unneeded/annoying flickering which even doesn't seem to change anything for me (probably already full brightness).
I don't think it should not display upon initialization.
