When I close plasmoid with the quit button, quick chat is closed correctly, but when I reopen chat window for a new message, the size of the plasmoid is at minimum. See the image linked: http://wstaw.org/m/2012/10/09/old206.png Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. close chat window with the close button 2. open a new incoming message 3. Actual Results: the size of the plasmoid isn't remembered, only input box is visble Expected Results: chat plasmoid size is the previous.
I can confirm this. The same behavior. Fedora 17 KDE 4.9,2 KTP 0.5.1
I can confirm it as well. It is annoying to the point of making the chat plasmoid almost unusable.
Have you seen this issue with KDE 4.10?

I see this with KTp 0.5.2 and KDE 4.9.5.
(cf. bug #313154) Now something weird happened: The Quick Chat plasmoid works again. It's been a few hours since the issue appeared. I tried to use the plasmoid several times in between and it was always unusable in the described way. Now I closed the Chat window and the Contact List and was about to shutdown my PC, when another message appeared (from the same contact as before) - and the Quick Chat plasmoid was usable again...
I've had that before, but I couldn't reproduce anymore. Can somebody try it in master? (or 0.6 beta, that should be happening soon I think)
(In reply to comment #6) > I see this with KTp 0.5.2 and KDE 4.9.5. I have also seen this with KTp 0.5.2 and KDE 4.10.0. I did not try master, but will have a look at 0.6_beta once it is released.
It's work very well with telepathy-kde 0.6. Thanks
