Description S. Burmeister 2012-10-05 21:56:16 UTC
If one creates a distribution list it has to be indexed by nepomuk in order to work, i.e. expand instead of just being used as email address+hostname.

Thus instead of waiting for nepomuk to index the distribution list, it has to be pushed to it in order to be available instantly, i.e. immediately or only a few seconds after it was saved.

Reproducible: Always

I think we are back to bug #270141 now that Nepomuk has been replaced by Baloo. Is that right?

Distribution list are not accepted if I add them to the "To" field of KMail, they work just if I right click on them and select "Send message". KDE / Kontact / KMail 4.14.1

Moreover, when used with right click, if a Contact has multiple addresses, only the default address will be used.
Example: Contact "Pippo" has default address "goofy@disney.com" and secondary address "goofy@mouseton.com". If I select in the distribution list "goofy@mouseton.com" mail will be sent to "goofy@disney.com" anyway.

The Nepomuk project is no longer maintained in KDE since 4.13. For email indexing, Baloo provided an Akonadi resource to index emails, contacts and events. Tags are now maintained by Akonadi itself.

Bug is still reproducible with KMail 4.14.4 and akonadi-1.13.0, please reopen.
