Description Stanley Schade 2012-10-04 09:28:42 UTC
Okular does not show landscape documents in PDF-format properly when using the Facing Pages option in the View menu. The left part can only be seen if one zooms into the document.
(You probably do not want to use the Facing Pages option for landscape documents. I just found this bug by accident, because I viewed the last document with this option and suddenly the landscape documents were not displayed correctly. You can just turn the Facing Pages option off. Therefore I consider this a minor bug.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a landscape document
2. Choose View -> View Mode -> Facing Pages
3. Try to zoom to the left part of the document
Actual Results:
The left part of the document cannot be viewed in a reasonable zoom level.

Expected Results:
Okular should zoom to the left correctly or (if it is not intended to view landscape documents with the facing pages option) turn of the facing pages option for landscape documents.

I use Debian Wheezy. The Debian package number of okular is 4.8.4-2.

Try to open this document with okular using the Faces Option as described in the bug report and you will experience the flawed behaviour.

Should already be fixed in 4.10 by http://commits.kde.org/okular/7d18d176bc60855dec4f38262fa32d9aa31146c4, see bug #305194

Thanks for the answer. I agree this patch looks like it should fix my problem. Unfortunately, I did not manage to recompile my version of okular to test it. If I succeed, I'll report it here.
