At least it should be ok with KDE browser, I'm using Konqueror... The "All time top 100" loaded initially are filling out the whole box, but my search results are shown in a very small box with scrollbars (and w/o frame) in the upper left corner of the large box with a black frame. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have Konqueror as default browser 2. Submit a bug report to KDE 3. type something in the search field, click "search" 4. If no search results, repeat 3. with another phrase until you get some non-empty result Actual Results: The box showing the search results is too small Expected Results: The box should adjust itself to the whole outer box. ...it's ok in reqonq, but I can not use that as default browser because I'm missing many many features of Konqi...
I can reproduce it in konqueror, but perhaps that is a bug of khtml ?
I cannot reproduce in konqueror with both khtml and webkit (v 4.9.97). Can you provide a screenshot?
(In reply to comment #2) No. It seems to have been fixed in one of the updates of webkit or khtml or in the HTML source of the page since I reported the bug.
Created attachment 76512 [details] screenshot showing the problem Strange, it just happens to me . My KDE instalation was built from git master less than one week ago.
This is indeed strange. But in any case i would think it is a bug in the rendering engine. As for the css for that certain part, it explicitely states a width of 100% of the available space and a height of 500px. As i can see in your screenshot, both rules are not honored.
Update: the rules ARE honored, as one can see on the big rounded box. just the iframe content itself breaks it
OK, just creating a new user in my system and login, no problem when using konqueror. So it seems to be related with user configuration ? Anyway I barely use konqueror as my web browser, so I don't mind this report being closed as "WORKSFORME" .
leaving it up to the khtml folks
