when I "seek forward" with the right arrow of the keyboard (by keeping it pressed) in a big file.mp3 (for example 1H), Amarok randomly goes back to the begining of the file whithout any reason. I mean that the mp3 is actually play quicker for few seconds (so it does work so far) and suddenly it comes back to the begining. So it is actually impossible to navigate with the arrows in a big file, because it comes back to the begining randomly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. play a big enough mp3 (audio?) file 2. try to "seek forward" by keeping the right arrow pressed during a while Actual Results: 3. after a few seconds, the playing comes back to the begining Expected Results: keeping to "seek forward" (play quicker) until the end of the mp3.
Which phonon backend do you use? Please try the phonon-backend-vlc instead of the gstreamer one (you need to restart KDE to make the backend change effective. Could you please also state the KDE version you use?

Thank you for the fast feedback. This is a bug in the phonon-backend-gstreamer, see also bug 276808
