Cntl + D > Manage bookmarks does nothing. After I installed Konqueror, it works, and if you don't have Konqueror installed, clicking the button does nothing. I have already filed a report on the Ubuntu package to put Konqueror as a dependency, but would also like to ask you guys to put a popup saying: "Konqueror is required for the Manage bookmarks action" in case Konqueror is not found when clicking on a button, instead of simply doing nothing, which immediately points users to the solution. Thanks in advance Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Ubuntu 12.04 2. sudo apt-get install krusader 3. Cntl + D > Manage bookmarks Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: Bookmarks manager opens up
If you think this behavior is good/possible please confirm this similar request for the Terminal Emulator: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300514 and if you are on Ubuntu, ask package Ubuntu guys to add Konqueror as a Krusader dependency at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/krusader/+bug/999695
Actually, what is needed here is keditbookmarks. No need for konqueror.
I can confirm this behavior in Version 2.4.0-beta3 "Single Step" using 64bit openSUSE 13.1. I came here to report a bug that the Manage Bookmarks function was broken. I found this ticket in my search, and installing keditbookmarks immediately fixed the problem.
(In reply to Jekyll Wu from comment #2) > Actually, what is needed here is keditbookmarks. No need for konqueror. I know this is an old post from you.. Thank you so much for this information! It was driving me crazy!
