Description Jason Oliveira 2012-04-18 20:24:58 UTC
Application: kmix (4)
KDE Platform Version: 4.8.2 (4.8.2)
Qt Version: 4.8.1
Operating System: Linux 3.2.0-23-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu precise (development branch)

-- Information about the crash:
kmix regularly crashes while using applications such as Skype, Jitsi, and VLC. The crash seems to happen when a new sound is played (skype message, next track in playlist begins). by "regularly", I mean that it happens once every ten minutes, depending on system usage.

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

this time, I was having a lengthy conversation over jitsi, when kmix died. this time, it seemed to be triggered by the "new message" sound in jitsi.

while installing the debugging symbols in ubuntu, I started up VLC, and began playing an album. when the playlist hit track 2, kmix crashed again. I opted not to file a second bug. :)

The crash can be reproduced every time.
