Certain applications return a segmentation fault in the plasma-dekstop process when lauching from the task manager.  The same applications can be launched correctly from the applications menu.  Usually a restart corrects the problem.  Firefox crashes, as does Chrome.  Konsole and Dolphin do not.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
