Description Scott 2012-02-14 21:27:05 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

At seemingly random times, the main menu changes ordering. It doesn't happen after any specific events, just switching documents back and forth make it a random order at a random time.

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10, KATE 3.7.4, KDE 4.7.4. I don't think it's a problem with Ubuntu global menus as it doesn't happen in any other application.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open several documents and switch between them.
2. Hover over the menu bar to reveal the menu.

Actual Results:
Menu is in a random order

Expected Results:
Menu should be in normal order (File/Edit/View etc)

See screenshot for two times it got randomly ordered.

Must be a kdeui issue or a problem with the global Ubuntu menu code.
