(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcontrol
Version: KDE 2.2.0 Beta1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

When a new window is opened for example the "Run Command" window initiated normally by Alt-F2 one almost always wants that window to become immediately active. There ought to be a focus policy that would move the cursor and focus to any newly opened window. This property would be orthogonal to the existing focus policies i.e in the Focus section of Window Behavior it would be selected or deselected by a check box.
