there in no such an option to import contacts from server on gadu gadu protocol

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
run app, log in

Actual Results:  
no buddy list for gadu gadu protocol

Expected Results:  
I've 20 buddies at least so they should be avalible in my buddy list

Try restarting the contact list, don't go offline, just close it and reopen it. Do your contacts appear now?

Unfortunately dosnt help. I have contacts from facebook and jabber only :(

Is this still happening in Telepathy 0.5?

Do you use telepathy-haze or telepathy-sunshine? AFAIK there is no support for importing contacts in llibpurple. There was GSoC project for adding this feature but id need unstable version of libpurple. 

 telepathy-sunshine supports importing contacts, but because of bug 311372  its not very usable.

Once this support is done in purple/haze, it will automatically work with KDE Telepathy too. Until then we can't do anything, sorry.
