Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.4) OS: Linux The "Add widget" bar has a search text field which shows a blinking cursor when opened via the right-click context menu or Alt-D, Alt-A. I assume that this text input field has focus as it displays a blinking cursor. Neither do typed letters show up in this text input nor is any search performed. After clicking the search field, typing and searching work as expected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) Right click desktop, unlock widgets if locked 2) Choose "Add widget" from context menu 3) "Add widget" bar appears. Notice the blinking cursor in the search field in the upper left corner 4) type something -> nothing happens 5) left-click the search field 6) type something -> normal search behaviour Actual Results: Typing something in step 4) does not do anything. Expected Results: Typing something in step 4) shoud produce standard search behaviour as in step 6). Searching the "Add widget" bar should work right after it was opened. Widget Style is Neon Glow by FrUiT.
