Version:           2.4-snapshots (using Devel) 
OS:                Linux

I was trying to open a png file with krita and it crashed. Launching krita from console works but when trying to open the file it still crashes.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to open a png file with Krita

Actual Results:  
Krita crashes

Expected Results:  
Krita not crashing.

Dr, Konqi does not start on Krita crash

Ah -- this isn't to do with png files but it's a problem with llvm. There are two possibilities: either this is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=289729, and about trying to use Krita with an incompatible llvm/opengtl, or you might have opengl enabled and are using a graphics card driver that also uses llvm: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=281446 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=282698

This is a bug with llvm 2.8 and sandy bridge. Fixed by upgrading llvm.
