Description bugmenot 2011-12-14 22:11:32 UTC
Version: 2.6 (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

When renaming a file from gwenview, the whole file name is selected which forces to either unselect the extension or manually reselect only the part before the last dot.

This behavior make the whole renaming tedious when working on a large number of files.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
select an image from gwenview and push the f2 key.

Actual Results:
opens a renaming file window with the whole file name selected.

Expected Results:
open the same window with only the part before the last dot selected.

This seems to be fixed but sometimes the whole filename is selected again.
