Version: 2.4.90 (2.5 beta) (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: MS Windows I have on several attempts tried to get Amarok to do the fade out when I tell a track to stop playing, however, the track play for a few more seconds and abruptly stops. There is no fade out. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Stop track and start over or close program and launch new Actual Results: No change in the issue. Expected Results: For the track to properly fade out.
This depends on the Phonon backend, not sure it is possible yet.
I am able to get the same behaviour while running Amarok 2.5 under Windows 7.
As I said, this depends on the phonon backend, not much we can do on the Amarok side.
Reassigning to phonon-backend-vlc
Phonon VLC has no volumefadereffect, because VLC cannot do volume fading at this time. Little we can do about that.

Not a Windows-specific bug.
Upstream limitation. Closing as upstream.
