Description Craig Everett 2011-11-14 09:47:46 UTC
Application: konqueror (4.6.5 (4.6.5))
KDE Platform Version: 4.6.5 (4.6.5)
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Operating System: Linux 2.6.35.14-103.fc14.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution: "Fedora release 14 (Laughlin)"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Konquerer crashes with regularity, roughly once every 2 ~ 3 hours. This seems to be related to some timed event, not any specific user activity (happens if simply opened and left alone with the same frequency).

The crash can be reproduced every time.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

konqueror (4.6.5 (4.6.5)) on KDE Platform 4.6.5 (4.6.5) using Qt 4.7.4

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
There was no interaction with Konqueror, it was sitting there idle. IIRC the only open page was a gitweb page, which I don't think uses any scripting that could have caused a problem.

Seems to be caused by the same issue of running out of file descriptors described in bug# 284830. Marking it as duplicate of that one. If the issue persists in KDE 4.7.3 or higher, feel free to reopen this ticket.
