Description astronomo 2011-10-10 12:31:15 UTC
Version: 2.1.0 (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

My laptop has native resolution 1366x768. After openning Settings, the dialog can be resized down to 982x623 resolution. However, clicking on Tools/Build increases its size to 998x748, it is only 20 pixels smaller than my native resolution. I see that there is no reason for these fixed dimensions, since there is still a lot of unused spaces around the controls.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open kile
2) Click on Settings
3) Try to decrease the dialog size.
4) Click on Tools/Build in the Settings list.
5) Try to decrease the dialog sizes again.

Actual Results:
The dialog size cannot be decreased below dimensions 998x748.

Expected Results:
More optimized location of the controls allowing to decrease the size of Settings dialog.

The configuration dialog will have scrollbars in Kile 3.
