Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux In KDE one may configure which terminal emulator to start when, for example, F4 is hit in konqueror. As the default is "konsole" I often end up with a lot of konsole-windows floating around on the desktop - where it would be much more elegant to have the folder open in a yakuake session. Thus it'd be cool if yakuake would allow to take a folder as argument (e.g. 'yakuake /home/me/wherever/') or however that might be best implemented. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: At the dialog where one may choose the default programs ("Standard-Komponenten" in German), select "Terminal Emulator" and enter 'yakuake'. Then in konqueror hit F4. Actual Results: Yakuake rolls out - but without creating a new session or switching to the current konqueror folder. Expected Results: Yakuake should roll out with a new session in the current folder - unless there is already a session available with the same folder. In that case yakuake should switch to that session.
> unless there is already a session available with the same folder. > In that case yakuake should switch to that session. That part won't be possible as the Konsole KPart component (which Yakuake embeds) API doesn't allow retrieving the cwd.

(In reply to comment #2) > *** Bug 263607 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Bug 263607 can't be duplicate of bug 280052 since the first one is older. That way, bug 280052 is the duplicated one.
Still present on yakuake 2.9.9
