Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.0) OS: Linux I try to copy kjot notes from one computer to another. syncing via a kolab resource does not work (see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=278959) I tried to copy the maildir to the other computer and added a akontes maildir resource pointing to the directory. The maildir is recognised as valid maildir. The books are shown in kjots, but the book titles are just scrambled characters. (The page titles are correct). And the symbols not the book symbol but the folder symbol. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: copy maildir akonotes and add the dir again as akonotes Actual Results: book titles and symbols wrong Expected Results: the books should show up correctly.
This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
