Description Stephan Olbrich 2011-07-31 18:45:46 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

I try to share kjot notes/books via a kolab resource.

When I add a book/notes on one computer I get this message:
accountname: Failed to write some annotations for 'IvmUKhN3y7' on the IMAP server. SetAnnotation failed, server replied: A000222 BAD Error in IMAP command SETANNOTATION: Unknown command.

In the akonadiconsole the situation is like this:
In the kolab resource the folder is only visible on the computer where created
In the imap resource it is there on both computers.
The attributes in the folder properties are different:
ENTITYDISPLAY and connectionannotations are missing on the remote computer. When I add those two (with some sensible value copied from another folder) , I can see the folder/book in the kolab resource but the individual pages are still not there.

Both computers have the same version (4.7) of kdepim (the packages from the kubuntu experimental ppa)
The kolab resource is working in general (I can see my addressbook and calendar on both computers)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
on both computers:
add imap resource
add kolab resource

on one:
add book in kjots in kolab resource

Actual Results:
the book does not show up on second computer

Expected Results:
the book should show up on both computers

This looks like your're missing the ANNOTATEMORE capability on the server, which is a requirement for kolab. I tried it and it works for me with kde 4.9 pre.
