- What I was doing when the application crashed:
opening kontact after a crash  The form of the userid had changed from username to user@domain.  This caused a repeated rejection.  Once the correct info was entered kmail crashes on re-opening for the first few times and then works.
- Custom settings of the application:

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Update your kdepim to 4.7 or master.
I fixed bugs about it.

Laurent, should ffd41ec also be backported by distributions for their 4.7.0 or 2d9fa58 is enough ?
