Description Leon Maurer 2011-06-27 04:33:11 UTC
Application: kontact (4.6.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.6.4 (4.6.4)
Qt Version: 4.7.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 11.04

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Frequently when I use kmail, I've been getting pop-ups from kmail about duplicate emails. It shows the emails side by side and asks if I want to keep the left one, the right one, or both. Sometimes these don't seem to be duplicates, and I don't see why it's having problems with duplicates so frequently. Anyhow, I clicked the "keep both" button and then kmail crashed.

kontact (4.6.0) on KDE Platform 4.6.4 (4.6.4) using Qt 4.7.2

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Same thing as before: a dialog box asked me what to do with duplicate email. I told it to keep both. It crashed.

kontact (4.6.0) on KDE Platform 4.6.4 (4.6.4) using Qt 4.7.3

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
kmail2 was happily running in the background, no user interaction, and then it popped up the 'found a duplicate' dialog. I clicked 'keep left' and the application crashed.

I have seen this dialog before whilst using kmail2, but this is the first time the application crashed directly after using it.

FWIW (I think it's unrelated, but I don't understand the duplicates) the remote IMAP server version is as follows.)
